“The 21st edition of the Conference and General Assembly Meeting of the Romanian Airports Association was held this year in Bucharest on 19-20 September

The event gathered many representatives of state institutions with responsibilities in the civil aviation field, among which we mention the Ministry of Transports (MT), County Councils, Romanian Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), Romanian Information Service, Romanian Police and Romanian Border Police, ROMATSA. All of the 16 Romanian civil airports were represented through the participation of their managing directors or other representatives; also, national or international aeronautical agents have completed the list of participants at this conference.
The speakers that officially opened the conference were State Secretary in the Ministry of Transport, Mr. Marian Nicu Buica, Mr. Catalin Radu, ECAC President and Director of Civil Aviation and Airspace Department within the MT, Mr. Armand Petrescu, General Director of AACR, Mr. Aleodor Francu, General Director at ROMATSA, and Mr. David Ciceo, RAA President and Managing Director of Cluj-Napoca International Airport.
